Unique and Special Kids Spa caters to children of what age?
Our spa caters to boys and girls ages 3-16 years old.
How do I find out about specials and receive coupons?
Join our mailing list for monthly emails with specials offers at the bottom of the page.
Occasional specials and coupons will be sent out to all on the list.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, appointments are required for spa services.
You can make an appointment via our online booking system or by phone. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, that should be done through the online system or by phone no later than 2 hours before your appointment, after which your appointment will be cancelled, and a $35 cancellation fee may be charged to your account. Email requests for cancellation are not accepted since the information is not processed immediately.
We offer a 15-minute grace period, after which your appointment will be cancelled, and a 50% no-show fee will be charged to your account. If we do speak to you and are able to accommodate your appointment, despite being late, a $20 fee will be added to your account. For massage appointments, the cancellation fee is 75%.
Massage appointments should be canceled, at least, 24 hrs in advance.
What happens if I am late or miss my appointment?
Appointments will be held for 15 minutes. If we do speak to you and are able to accommodate your appointment, despite being late, a $20 fee will be added to your account. After that grace period, you will be marked as a no-show and a 50% no-show fee will be charged to your account. For massage appointments, the no-show fee is 75%.
Do you use REAL nail polish?
Unique and Special Kids Spa uses real nail polish and remover, but we carry organic, all-natural nail polish and remover for those who wish to have it, at a modest additional cost.
Do you use REAL makeup?
Our make-up is for entertainment only. We exercise special care in being sanitary and using mild, kid-friendly products. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to alert Unique and Special Kids Spa, in advance, of any allergies that any of the children may have. Unique and Special Kids Spa reserves the right to refuse services on any child, for any reason, that we feel may impose a health risk to others.
What kind of products do you use?
We use Young Living Essential Oils products, as well as other natural products. Items are available for purchase at Unique and Special Kids Spa. Many products, from the hand soaps and lotions to the sugar scrubs and facial masks, are natural and organic. We do this for the safety of your children.

What makes your Manis & Pedis “mini”?
Our manicure and pedicure services are tailored to children. Kids often have soft, sensitive skin so we do not incorporate the use of metal tools to achieve a nice manicure or pedicure.
Can parents participate too?
A mommy or daddy and me package is available, which includes a relaxing foot soak for mom or dad. Please remember our services are designed for kids and do not include the usage of sharp implements, blades, or other tools commonly used in adult-tailored manicures and pedicures.
What sanitary precautions do you take?
Every spa guest is given clean and washed towels and spa robes. We use disposable liners for our pedicure bowls, and they are regularly cleaned and disinfected. Disposable applicators are used for all makeup applications.

For this reason, we reserve and will exercise the right to refuse entry to those who smell heavily of outside, legal, or illegal substances. We are a spa for children and are determined to maintain a comfortable, relaxing, spa-like atmosphere.
How do I book a Spa Party?
To book a spa party, please visit our party booking site. Please book at least 7 days in advance of your desired spa party date. Spa party times and dates are on a first come, first served basis. At the time of booking, a $250 non-refundable deposit is due. The remaining balance is due no later than 5 days before the spa party is to take place. Payments for spa parties can be made online.
What happens if I cancel my party?
Parties are non-refundable as the supplies and staffing have been paid for and arranged. If the cancellation is due to extenuating circumstances, the party can be rescheduled at no additional cost.
Please be advised that should the party be canceled and/or rescheduled within 24 hours of the start time, there is a $100 rescheduling fee that will need to be paid at the time of rescheduling.
What if a spa party guest does not show up or want to participate, do I still pay for that guest?
You will be charged for the final number of guests scheduled to attend 5 days prior to the party. No refunds are given for no-shows. No refund will be given for party guests who do not wish to participate in an activity.
What happens if a guest arrives late?
Because our parties are based on a schedule, they work best when all guests arrive on time.
Guests coming late may join the princess party at whatever point of its progression.
How long does the party last?
Spa parties are approximately 2.5 to 3.5 hours depending on your chosen party package and number of party guests. Our parties operate per a set schedule; therefore, all parties must start and end on time.
Under no circumstances, will we be able to wait for latecomers. They may join in, at the point of the party’s progression, when they arrive.
What do I need to bring on the day of the party?
During the services, we provide refreshments for the party VIP and their party guests. We also have an amazing party room for your use. All paper goods, utensils, drinks, and a light healthy meal come with the party room.
The dessert that is included are vanilla cupcakes with vanilla icing made by Sheri's Sweetshop.
Gluten-free food options are available upon request.
All other specialized decorations or desserts may be brought in by the parent.
Can siblings participate in the spa party?
Our spa party packages are prepared prior to arrival based upon the number of party guests given at the time of reservation. Therefore, we are not able to accommodate unexpected guests. Siblings of the party VIP should be included in the final number of party guests given at the time of final payment.
Are parents welcomed to stay during the party?
Yes, parents are welcomed, however, space is limited. We will have seats available for parents wanting to enjoy the Runway Photo Shoot. Parties are limited to eight children. The number of adults remaining with the party must not exceed the number of children participating. We ask that you give our staff a call or email with an estimate of how many parents will stay and if you require additional accommodations.
What is a Spa Product Science Experiment?
Children get to wear a lab coat and goggles to create their spa treatments. These spa treatments include sugar scrub, facial mask, moisturizing treatment, bath salts, and lip balm. The created spa treatments will be sent home with the children.
What happens to the photos taken at Unique and Special Kids Spa?
Some photos taken during a service or at your spa party are solely the property of Unique and Special Kids Spa and may possibly be used for advertising purposes only. For that reason, all parents are asked to sign a waiver, in advance, granting or denying permission to display your child's photo. Other photos will be gifted to the party VIP.
What should I do if my child has allergies?
Please let us know if your child or any child you bring has any allergies to food or products. We are happy to provide a list of ingredients for any foods served and the products used. We launder with ALL Free and Clear. It is free of dyes and perfumes. We recognize that little people may have sensitive skin. A list of products/ingredients is available for viewing.

How can I add a keepsake robe to a spa service or party?
Add a plain or personalized spa robe to your spa package! Use it during the service and take it home. Must have at least one week advanced notice for personalized robes. All sales on robes are final.

Connected to the Kids Spa is Silk Rose Spa that offers a variety of spa services for adults such as, foot baths, facials, massages, acupuncture, yoni steams and more! Book a service for yourself while your kids are being pampered around the corner.
