Unique & Special Kids Spa was created with one simple belief: children deserve spaces designed just for them—where they feel confident, joyful, and truly seen.

As a spa exclusively for kids, we create more than services—we create memories. From first spa visits to milestone celebrations, each experience is age-appropriate, inclusive, and designed to nurture self-esteem in a fun, safe, and judgment-free environment.

Here, children are treated like royalty simply for being themselves.

Meet Our Founder

Martia Clark

Award-Winning CEO | Childcare Professional | Massage Therapist & Wellness Coach

Unique & Special Kids Spa was founded by Martia Clark, a Virginia-licensed childcare professional with over 20 years of experience working with children of all ages and backgrounds.

Inspired by early spa memories shared with her mother—and later with her own daughters—Martia envisioned a place where children could experience self-care in a joyful, affirming, and developmentally appropriate way.

In addition to her childcare background, Martia holds multiple licenses and certifications as a Massage Therapist, Wellness Coach, Cosmetologist, and Hair Loss Practitioner. She opened Unique & Special Kids Spa in 2018 and later founded Silk Rose Spa, an adult wellness sanctuary in Alexandria, Virginia.

Her guiding philosophy remains simple:

“See a need, fill a need.”
